Heathfield Agricultural Show - Vintage Tractors

Yesterday, we went to the Heathfield Agricultural Show, one of the largest agricultural shows in the south east of England. There are horse, cattle, sheep and pig classes as well as lots of craft and country stalls.

It was a HOT day so we didn't stay too long. The ice cream vans had a captured market and a Mr Whippy with flake is now £2.20!! Whatever happened to the 99p?? Guess that's inflation for you!

On entering the showground, we were met with this ginormous steam tractor which was pumping away. It smelt amazing, that steam smell that makes you think of "The Railway Children".

There were rows and rows of shiny vintage tractors:

My mum fancied taking this one home . . .

There were some stunning vintage cars too:

I think I'd rather take one of the cars home! My next post will focus on the show animals!
