This is actually a photo of a photo . . . it was taken on Queen Mary 2 last summer when we went on a transatlantic crossing to New York. My Mum only just got a frame for it and now it's out on display!

I guess the excitement of the baby shower urged things on - my neighbour's baby was born early this morning and it's a girl so my instincts were wrong! Can't wait to meet her, she's only 6 pounds!

Day 51
Today I went to my first baby shower. My neighbour is expecting any day now and there is great debate over whether it will be a boy or girl. I opted for the boy's team and we won the games, so that officially means it will be a boy!! We shall see . . .

Day 47
The peacock who lives on the farm behind out house often comes and walks along our garden wall. He never comes inside because of Minty. There was a near miss last year when we let Minty out not realising the peacock was in our garden . . . he narrowly missed grabbing his tail by a few inches! The peacock is beautiful but boy does he make a racket during mating season.

New toy for Woo - as usual it was completely destroyed within 10 minutes. Originally it was a stuffed soft hamburger. Although he destroys most toys, we still like to give him them because he really does enjoy tearing them apart!

Beef cattle on the farm behind our house. They always stop eating and look up when I take pictures of them. I must shoot some close ups one day.
